In 2011, as a fresh university graduate, I co-founded Naqaa Sustainability Solutions -one of the first social enterprises in Saudi Arabia led by young women who strive to promote and implement environmental sustainability practices within the Saudi Arabia community.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dar Al-Hekma University in Jeddah, and earned my Masters in Development Practice from Paris School of International Affairs –SciencesPo. I also have a certificate in Social Entrepreneurship from Babson and certificate in Sustainable Environmental Management from University of California Berkeley. I currently lead programme design and development in Naqaa Sustainability Solutions.
I am a social entrepreneur and sustainable development practitioner, with special focus on environmental education, food security, health and women empowerment. In my scope of work, I have become a skilled project manager and social entrepreneurship trainer and mentor, and have conducted and presented several research projects in environment and sustainable development.
