I have a bachelors degree in Small Business Management and an MBA degree, both from Northern Arizona University. I have excelled at organising community-based economic strategy that is guided by local vision and cultural values around small culturally-based ventures, which includes tourism, renewable energy (solar), farmers’ markets and traditional shepherding. I led work on Navajo Nation’s landmark Local Governance Act, federal delegation of business site leasing on Navajo land and local sales tax creation, and have organised Navajo Nation strategy around large scale renewable energy projects. I have also assisted communities to expand their economies.
